Rosh HaAyin, Israel, 2021. A new neighborhood rises on the eastern edge of the city, its balconies facing open hills. Young families arrive with strollers and dreams of a quiet life. Where the last street ends and the hills begin runs a line that appears on no sign. Most of the new residents have no idea it is there. For the Palestinians on the other side, it is as real as a border gets. Crossing it is illegal, and for many it is the only way to make a living. When the residents start noticing men walking through their streets at dawn, the dream begins to fall apart.
