Synopsis

Genadiy is a Ukraine-born Israeli with an impossible dream: to reenact, as faithfully as possible, the Crusaders’ last battle in the Holy Land in the year 1187. Genadiy’s wife, children, and friends all become part of this quest, which consumes their entire lives. What is the purpose of all this? Why are they doing it? No one can tell, not even Genadiy himself. And yet, they move forward with great passion and obsession, taking us on a journey toward a historical event whose echoes are heard to this day.
